The project consisted of the development of 25-acres of land located in WaterSound Beach, Florida and included the design and permitting of infrastructure necessary to service approximately 85,000 sq.ft. of residential and amenity buildings, including a 3-story Inn, golf pro shop, a golf training center, a health and wellness center, an aquatic center and kids club complete with a 10,000 sq.ft. pool, water slide and lazy river, two restaurants, eight tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts and a 2-acre lake. Infrastructure design included paved areas such as roadways, sidewalks and parking, potable water and sanitary sewer utilities, stormwater drainage and management system and a new entrance and guardhouse at Fazio Drive and WaterSound Parkway. Permitting included a Walton County Major Development Order, Northwest Florida Water Management District (NWFWMD) Environmental Resource Permit (ERP), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Water Distribution Permit, and a FDEP Wastewater Collection Permit.
