The decision frame

At the corner of Scenic Highway 30A and CR 393 in Dune Allen Beach, 2.8 acres needed full site, utility, and stormwater design before a 7,200-square-foot restaurant and retail building could rise on the corner, and the design had to satisfy Walton County, the water management district, and the state at once.

Structural Engineering

Structural design, working drawings and specifications for the 7,200-square-foot restaurant and retail building: concrete stem-wall and slab foundation, timber-framed walls, pre-engineered timber truss upper-level floor, and a custom heavy timber roof truss system

The result

The 2.8 acres were developed, and the 7,200-square-foot restaurant and retail building stands at the corner today, overlooking the Gulf. The grading design supported the stormwater permit, and the utility layout supported the state water and wastewater permits. One engineering package answered all three agencies.
