Santa Rosa Beach
Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, forensics, and special inspection. Principal office, where the firm's president works.
Not every discipline is staffed at every location. See all five service lines on the About page.
What the Santa Rosa Beach office actually handles.
This is the office the firm started in and the one most 30A work runs through. Structural design for new coastal homes and small commercial buildings, civil site design and land development, forensic investigation of existing conditions, and threshold and special inspection all sit here.
Walton County work rewards familiarity. Two parcels a few hundred feet apart can fall on opposite sides of the Coastal Construction Control Line, in or out of the Coastal High Hazard Area, or under a private design review board with its own submittal calendar. The sequence of approvals usually determines the schedule here more than the engineering does.
Because the principal office is here, complex or contested projects can be escalated in the same building rather than across a firm.
If one of these reads like your situation, start here.
- A new residence or small commercial building on or near 30A that needs structural and civil design carried through permit
- A site plan that has to clear a development order, a Water Management District permit, and a private design review board
- A structural opinion on an existing building where the question is cause rather than condition
- Threshold or special inspection during construction
Not sure which applies? Call (850) 403-4555 and describe the building. Or send the details in writing.
All five service lines are available to clients in this market, whether or not the discipline is staffed in this building. A project scoped here draws engineers, designers, and field staff from whichever of our locations holds the work, and one project manager stays responsible for the engagement. Review the service lines or see the project record.

The agencies we appear before in this market.
Walton County Planning and Development Services for development orders, Walton County Building Department, Northwest Florida Water Management District Environmental Resource Permits, FDEP for coastal construction seaward of the control line, and FDOT District Three for state routes.
30A constraints that catch out-of-area firms: Coastal Construction Control Line setbacks, the Coastal High Hazard Area, and beach neighborhoods running their own design review boards independent of the county.
