Wastewater Collection and Treatment Systems

Wastewater is used water from domestic, industrial, commercial, or agricultural activity. Collecting it and treating it is the least visible infrastructure a community depends on daily.

What is included
  • Gravity pipe and manhole design
  • Lift stations and control structures
  • Force mains and tanks
  • Treatment system design and coordination
  • Regulatory agency coordination and permit applications

What we design

Wastewater is used water from any combination of domestic, industrial, commercial, or agricultural activity. Treatment removes the contaminants so the water can be reused for various purposes.

We have designed wastewater collection and treatment systems for local communities along the Emerald Coast. Collection systems can include gravity pipes, manholes, tanks, lift stations, control structures, and force mains, each of which plays a role in conveying flow to the treatment facility.

We meet with the necessary regulatory agencies and prepare site drawings, permit applications, documents, and specifications. Each set of drawings includes the plans and details specific to that project, and we assist the owner in applying for and obtaining the required regulatory permits.

During construction

During construction we provide documentation and engineering assistance, which includes Construction Observations and reporting, answering contractor questions, and enforcing the technical specifications.

Common questions.

Do you design lift stations?

Yes. Lift stations, control structures, force mains, gravity collection, and manholes are all part of the collection systems we design.

Next step

Need wastewater collection and treatment systems?

Send the building, the site, and the timeline. A licensed engineer will tell you what we would actually do.
